About Alcúdia
The old town inside the walls is compact and partly pedestrianised, full of stone streets and small hotels. The port and the beach areas begin a kilometre away and run for several kilometres along the bay towards Playa de Muro. Bonaire and Mal Pas, north of the town, are quiet villa districts near the marina, and the Victòria peninsula beyond them is mostly natural park. The Ma-13 motorway runs from Palma almost all the way here, which keeps the journey predictable even in August.
