About Magaluf
The resort is built around Punta Ballena, the short, steep street of bars that most people simply call the strip, with the beach and the promenade below it. Calvià Beach and Sol Katmandu sit at the northern end, the older hotels and apartment blocks spread inland along Avinguda Notari Alemany, and Torrenova runs into Palmanova on the other side. Traffic on summer nights around Punta Ballena is the main thing that slows a delivery down, which is why we often agree a meeting point one street back.
